It was a wooden building dyed to vermilion. It was easily understood that China had been influencing a Ryukyu kingdom because of the facade in the richly-colored of which the keynote was red. The tree sculpture of doing and was given everywhere vermilion wooden. It was political, cultural, an economic center of a Ryukyu kingdom.
